Four years after initiating an adoption process, Jennifer and James Murrow Grover have finally welcomed their two sons home from the Democratic Republic of Congo in heartwrenching footage which has pulled at the heartstrings of millions.

The couple, who had been dealt a devastating blow after Congolese officials placed a suspension on adoptions while awaiting U.S.approval on the boys’ visas, were finally able to welcome their children, 14-year-old Joseph and seven-year-old Bronson, at Salt Lake International Airport earlier this month.

Taking to Facebook to share the moment with thousands who had followed the couple's story, Jennifer wrote: "In 2012 (yes, you read that correctly...2012), we started the adoption process to bring home our two precious sons from the Democratic Republic of Congo..."

The short clip, which was captured by Jennifer's equally overjoyed mother, shows the two youngsters rushing directly into their parents arms after an agonising four-year wait.
