This sauce is great for dipping chips in. Serve instead of ketchup for an alternative dip.
350g ketchup
240g water
110ml apple cider vinegar
5 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tbsp mustard
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to season
Add the ketchup, water, vinegar and sugar to a saucepan.
Cook on a medium temperature until the sugar has dissolved.
Add the mustard, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce. Give it a good mix before bringing it to the boil.
Reduce the temperature and leave to simmer for an hour.
Season with salt and pepper before serving.
