Beef and mushroom stir-fry

4 thin or 2 thick strip loin steaks (400g)
150g mushrooms
300g broccoli
1 garlic clove
3cm thumb - width piece of ginger
1 tbsp groundnut or sesame oil
2 tbsp runny honey
2 tbsp rich soy sauce
2 tsp corn flour
200ml cold water
Thinly slice the steak into strips and set aside.
Wash and slice the mushrooms.
Rinse and break the broccoli into florets and set aside.
Peel and crush the garlic and finely chop or grate the ginger and set aside.
Heat the oil in a hot wok or large frying pan.
Quickly fry the steak strips until browned and push to the edges of the pan.
Add the mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes.
Push the mushrooms to the side, add the ginger, garlic and broccoli, and cook for 1 minute.
Mix in with the steak and mushrooms.
Drizzle over the honey and stir well, then add in the soy sauce.
Mix the cornflour and cold water together and add to the pan.
Continue to cook until the sauce is thoroughly heated and serve on a bed of noodles.
