So simple to make, yet delicious.
800g minced beef
1 onion, grated
2 cloves of garlic crushed
1 tsp chilli flakes
1 tsp coriander
1 egg
Salt and pepper to taste
8 metal skewers or wooden skewers soaked in water
2 tbsp olive oil
1 lemon quartered to garnish
Preheat the grill to a medium temperature.
In a large bowl, combine the minced beef, onion, garlic, chilli flakes, coriander and egg together. Season with salt and pepper.
Use your hands to roll the mince mix into 8 thick kofta shapes.
Push the skewers into the koftas and place in the fridge for an hour.
Remove from fridge and lightly coat with oil. Place under the grill for 10 minutes until brown and cooked through.
Garnish with lemon.
