Family Hot Pot
3 medium carrots (diced or sliced)
1 medium onion (finely diced)
4 stalks (celery diced)
1 medium potato (peeled & diced/sliced)
2 mugs water
1kg mince meat (lamb / beef / turkey)
Dash of soya sauce
Rapeseed oil
1 jar of Janet’s Just Delicious Basil & Roast Garlic Pasta Sauce
Heat the oven to 170 degrees
In a large casserole pot, sweat the diced onion in a little rapeseed oil.
Then add the mincemeat and lightly brown it for 5 minutes.
Then add in all the other ingredients and stir .
Put the lid on the casserole pot and place in the heated oven.
Cook for 1 hour & 15 minutes.
Serve with crusty baguette or warmed nan bread.
