Peach iced tea

Delicious thirst quenching summer drink
225g caster sugar
250ml water
2 peaches, thinly sliced. Plus extra for serving
3 tea bags (black tea)
2l water
Bring caster sugar, water and peaches to the boil in a saucepan.
Lower the heat and crush the peaches with a wooden spoon.
Once the sugar has dissolved, remove from the heat, place a lid on and allow to steep for around 30 mins.
Brew tea in a large teapot for around 4 mins.
Pour tea into a large glass jug
Transfer to fridge to cool.
Strain peach syrup through a sieve to strain out peach slices.
Add syrup to jug of tea and mix thoroughly.
Add ice and serve.
