Let’s face it, we could all do with a free trip to somewhere exotic, especially with the return of the tiresome back-to-school routine.
However, some ‘deals’ are just too good to be true, and Ryanair has spoken out this week to issue a special warning to would-be travellers.
The airline has warned people that a supposed social media campaign offering 'two free plane tickets' to mark the company’s 35th anniversary, is a bogus scam.

The post, which has been doing the rounds online, features what first appears to be a Ryanair boarding pass, and a link to a random spam page.
After being alerted by customers, the airline took to its social media channels to warn people off following the post link.
“Please be aware of an online scam offering free Ryanair tickets. This is not an official promotion,” a tweet from the company’s official Twitter account read.

Hopefully, no one was affected by the scam.
With hopeful families already looking forward to the mid-term, it’s important to get the message out there.
