Two years ago Save the Children uploaded a video called “Most Shocking Second A Day” which documents a year in the life of a girl caught in the middle of a war.

The video follows the girl as she flees her home country in hopes of finding a better, safer life.

The video has received nearly 55 million views on YouTube since it was uploaded and highlights the horrendous things many Syrian children have seen.

325,000 children have crossed the Mediterranean and Aegean seas risking their lives in the hopes of a brighter future.

Since September, 340 children have drowned on their journey.

That’s roughly two children per day.

So Save the Children are yet again making their plea for donations to help those children by revisiting the girl in the video.

The sequel is “Still the most shocking second a day” and shows how the situation has only gotten worse for this little girl.

This heartbreaking video has already got nearly 30,000 views since it was uploaded yesterday.
