You may recall an interesting social experiment from earlier this month, in which a woman sat in public and breastfed her child while a hidden camera filmed people’s reactions. If you found that video upsetting, then the following one will likely prove equally disillusioning.
YouTuber Joey Salads decided to take his public breastfeeding social experiment a step further, and shared instalment number two with his audience this week. The aim? To gauge the public’s reaction to the image of breastfeeding in comparison to the image of cleavage.
In this experiment, a ‘sexy’ woman sits on a public bench with her cleavage on display – a sight which garners plenty of ‘approving’ looks from male members of the public.
When the mother sits down to breastfeed her child however, she is met with disapproval from passing members of the public who brand the act ‘disgusting’.
Joey then gets both women to sit together and asks random passers-by to share their thoughts – and the results are more than a little disturbing.
