You asked

Should I be using hand cream on a daily basis?

Our hands are one of the first parts of our bodies to age. Not only are they constantly exposed to the harmful effects of the environment, we also put them to good use throughout the day. Washing dishes, hand washing clothes, cooking, cleaning and gardening can all take their toll on our hands. Getting into the routine of applying hand cream on a daily basis can significantly help protect against cracked, dry and sensitive skin.

MummyPages recommends applying a thick, rich hand cream into your hands daily. We think that Dove Pro Age Nourishment Hand Cream is great. We also like E45 which is great for treating eczema, dermatitis and other dry skin conditions. For an extra treat, cover your hands with cotton gloves after applying. This locks in moisture and will leave your hands feeling as smooth as a baby’s bottom.
