If you’re eager to donate to charity, but simply cannot find the time to fundraise on any major scale, skincare favourite, La  Roche-Posay, has got you covered!

The skincare giant, renowned for developing products formulated to protect and enrich sensitive skin, has committed to donating €1 to Temple Street Children’s Hospital for each of the first 10,000 selfies shared online which see users pose alongside their favourite product.

Championing the 'You Share We Care' campaign, Mummy Pages Mummy Blogger, Lucy Kennedy, urges the public to get involved with the initiative, saying: “This campaign provides people with a really quick and easy way of helping the hospital."

Recalling a recent visit to the Dublin hospital, which tends to over 145,000 children a year, Lucy explained: “I visited Temple Street last week and it was plain to see the fantastic work that goes on and this campaign will provide much needed funds to the hospital. Every selfie shared will make a big difference.”
 


Denise Fitzpatrick, CEO of the Temple Street Foundation, also urged the public to get behind the campaign, saying: “By taking a selfie and sharing it, each individual has the power to make a difference to the lives of sick children in Temple Street.”

Explaining the importance of the partnership, Denies eloborates: “For years the hospital has delivered world-class care in challenging conditions and many of the facilities are struggling to cope. The support of La Roche-Posay will help us to continue to fund specialist equipment and the redevelopment of critical wards, that will save a lot of little lives.”

Similarly enthused, Marketing Manager for La Roche-Posay, David O’ Brien, paid tribute to the initiative, saying: “This campaign perfectly reflects the ethos of La Roche-Posay. In our laboratories, we are committed to designing and developing products that help provide a better life for sensitive skin. We are really pleased that this campaign gives us the opportunity to harness this positivity and support such a deserving cause.”
