When it comes to our kids, we’ll admit to being total hypochondriacs – and we’re sure many of you mums and dads out there will agree with us!
Upon reflection then, this smart new device could prove absolutely life-changing when it comes to monitoring our children’s health.
This week, a fancy new smart soother called the Pacif-i was unveiled at an event in Las Vegas, and it pledges to transform how we keep track of our children’s health.
Designed by BlueMaestro, the Pacif-i goes above and beyond just serving as a comforting soother. Indeed, this new piece of technology also measures a baby’s temperature and transmits that information to a connected app on their parents’ Android or iPhone.
While the Pacif-i is not available just yet, it is expected to launch later this year once it receives its licenses.
Information about this impressive new invention comes after the news that Samsung is teaming up with South Korean universities to develop a free Android app designed to help children on the spectrum learn how to better make eye contact and recognise facial expressions.
These new developments certainly provide food for thought for us parents. We're looking forward to seeing what other technological developments are in store in 2015, particularly when it comes to health.
