Janette Manrara has revealed that she recently enjoyed a surprise baby shower!
The former Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer is currently expecting her first child with her husband Aljaž Škorjanec. The pair are due to welcome their little one later this summer.
Ahead of the birth, Janette has treated her followers to a few snaps and all the details from her special baby shower.
Taking to Instagram earlier today, the 39-year-old posted several photos from the celebrations, including ones with fellow Strictly star Katya Jones and Pussycat Dolls singer Ashley Roberts.
Janette also shared some heartwarming images of herself and her mother, who flew in from her native Miami as a surprise.
The decorations for the party itself looked beautiful and lavish, centering around the theme of Winnie the Pooh.
“So yesterday I walked into the most beautiful surprise #BabyShower!” Janette gushed at the beginning of her caption.
“@iamashleyroberts @katyajones & my sister @missleslymarie back home, along w/ a epic baby shower committee, organised the most beautiful afternoon!” she continued.
The expectant mum then went on to gush about her surprise guests. “And the best part, they flew my mom over from Miami as a surprise! I had no idea! And @aljazskorjanec sister @laraljubic came from Slovenia as well, just for the day!”
“I have never felt more lucky and loved! Thank you does not say enough how grateful I am for my amazing friends & family,” the It Takes Two presenter concluded.
Janette and Aljaž initially announced on February 19 that they were expecting their first child together, after struggling with fertility.
In a recent interview with HELLO!, the couple confirmed that they know the gender of their child and have already chosen a name.
"We settled on a name about eight years ago, but then as soon as we fell pregnant, we completely erased that one from the options," Aljaž noted. "Then, not that long ago, Janette suggested a name and that was the one that we kind of stuck with.”
