A little girl who is fighting for her life saw one of her dreams come true this month, when she served as bridesmaid at her parents’ wedding ceremony.

Paige Skarratts, who is just four years old, saw her world turned upside-down when she was diagnosed with a brain tumour.

The lemon-sized tumour has been removed, but sadly, Paige was given just ‘days’ to live.

In an effort to grant one of their beloved daughter’s life dreams, parents Tania Miller and Jacob Skarratts brought their nuptials forward.

Photographer Kylie Marcic had the honour of taking the pictures on the big day.

“This is a photo shoot that I will never forget. Paige is now classified as terminal,” she wrote, on her official Facebook page, at the weekend.

“The wedding was put together literally overnight, as they felt that time wasn’t on their side.

“They married at the children’s hospital, and it was a beautiful and very emotional ceremony.”

Kylie went on to share a series of gorgeous and heart-wrenching photos from the ceremony, with little Paige at the centre of the celebrations.

There has been an outpouring of love for Paige and her family, and this can be clearly seen over on a GoFundMe page (link here) set up by Jake’s sister, Innez.

When she initially set up the page in August, Innez explained: “Paige will need extensive rehab and hospital visits, which means that either Jake or Tania are not going to be able to go back to work straight away. This will cause them a little financial hardship.

“I’m hoping to raise enough money to take that pressure off them so they can focus on Paige’s recovery.”

Kind members of the public have given generously to the cause, donating a whopping $44,881.

We are thinking of Paige and her family at this time, and are sending them all our love.
