Three terror suspects have reportedly been killed, with a further five arrested, following a police raid in the Paris suburb of Saint-Denis this morning.

Sources from numerous French news and TV outlets made the claims following a shoot-out involving scores of Parisian police. Early reports allege that four police officers were also injured in what has been considered a major anti-terror operation.

While few details have been released as of yet, it is believed that the police raid centred around a Saint-Denis apartment in which the mastermind of last weekend’s terror attacks, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, was hiding out.

The raid is reported to have begun at around 4:30am, with witnesses reporting exchanges of fire three hours later.

The anti-terrorist operation is believed to be directly linked to the horrific attacks around the city last weekend, which saw at least 129 people killed. The terrorist group ISIS went on to claim responsibility for the attacks and proceeded to lay on more threats, one against Washington, US.

We will keep you updated on the story as more information emerges throughout the day.
