This dad-to-be did something very unusual to help his partner through labour.

There was no back-rubbing or hand holding in this delivery room just a whole lot of dancing.

Holly Kane had been sitting around waiting for hours as she prepared to deliver her baby when her partner Bruno decided to do something to keep her spirits up.

“I just snuck off to see what I could find and came across the nurse’s things,” he told the Huffington Post.

“When I came back in I did the dance to make us feel better.

“That’s just me. It’s just how I am.”

Holly was feeling anxious as doctors were concerned about her baby’s heart rate and feared it may have been the umbilical cord wrapped around the baby.

They decided it was best to break Holly’s waters which left her waiting for hours before the baby was ready to come.

Trying to ease his partner’s stress, Bruno did his best dance routine to the Fifth Harmony hit “All In My Head”.

Wearing rubber gloves on his hands and head and shaking what his mother didn’t give him, he tried to put a smile back on Holly’s face.

Getting more of reaction that he expected, Holly suddenly began having contractions and just two hours later the pair welcomed their son Leonardo weighing just 7lbs 1oz.

“He often makes me laugh out of nowhere, so in a way I didn’t expect anything less,” Holly said of his dance moves.

“When I was laughing I was having contractions.

“When the midwife saw it she laughed her head off. She told Bruno to go and show it to all the other nurses.”
