While giving birth is a life-changing, incredibly important experience, it is not necessarily the most glamorous event to witness.
YouTube channel Cut's series called 'First Takes' documents people seeing or doing something for the first time, like holding a baby. Just this month they invited two men and a pair of young women to watch videos of childbirth for the very first time.
One of the women candidly said before watching the birth videos, "It’s probably going to be gross, but really cool because I’m a woman, so gotta know how it goes."
The video hilariously captures the looks of wonder and horror on their faces in slow motion as they witness life being brought into this world.
The other young woman clapped after the second childbirth video was shown, saying, "That was incredible."
The next words out of her mouth will be met with cheers from mums everywhere: "She should get, like, breakfast in bed every day for the rest of her life for doing that."
Amen to that!
