Three 'breastfeeding' dads have made headlines around the world today

There are some men who would do anything to try and understand what their other half goes through after welcoming a child, and three Chinese dads have gone to extreme lengths to do so.

 

According to reports today, the men from Shanghai signed up for a 10-day course to simulate motherhood.

 

The intensive course requires the men to learn how to change nappies, dress babies and even ‘breastfeed’ a doll every four hours using specially adapted fake breasts.

 

In one of the most interesting aspects of the course, the men get a taster of what it’s like to go a whole month without leaving the house, showering or using air conditioning – all practices that Chinese custom brands unhealthy for new mums.

 

 

During their course, the men were also banned from using mobile phones and watching TV.

 

The course was created as an experimental event. While over 1,000 men applied to take part, these three men were the only ones lucky enough to get through.
