Tyler Blake Kimbrell was driving behind his sister Destiny’s car, when he watched the vehicle fall from a cliff side road and overturn.
While Destiny was thrown from the vehicle upon impact, her daughter Breliegh was stuck inside the car after being strapped into a baby seat.
After initially examining the scene, the pair saw that the 11-month-old tot was alive, and heroic Tyler went in to rescue his little niece.
As Tyler was using his phone as a flashlight while trying to pull Breleigh out, the entire thing was captured on video – including his shock and panic.
After a brief struggle, and having instructed his sister to contact emergency services, Tyler is seen pulling his niece safely out of the wreckage.
The family proceeded to set up a GoFundMe page to help replace some of the items lost in the accident, and they shared the dramatic footage online.
In a post on their funding page, Tyler has written: “My sister and niece have literally lost almost everything since the crash. Truth be told…Living out of her car was one of the main reasons she was visiting to begin with. She lost all of her and Bree’s clothes in the crash, as well as her cellphone, and all other personal items that couldn’t be recovered.”
