A nine-year-old boy from Florida has come in for major praise this week, after home security footage captured him saving his 11-month-old little brother from a head-first fall.
Mum Tila Levi had placed her baby son on a changing table in her nursery, before turning around to speak to her older son, Joseph.
As you will see, in the top-right-hand corner, the tot starts to move and eventually places a leg over the side of the changing table.
Just as the baby is about to fall head-first onto the floor, big brother Joseph comes rushing in, arms out, and breaks the tot’s fall.
Tila is then seen taking the baby and cuddling him in relief, before doing the same with Joseph.
Speaking to local news, Tila described Joseph’s rescue as a ‘miracle’.
“I must have done something right to have been deserving of this little guy, running in at the right time and catching him at the right moment,” she gushed.
As for Joseph, he reckons he had some Divine help: “I can’t run that fast, so I felt like something came and just pushed me forward, and when that happened I just ran and caught him.”
Well done, Joseph.
