My daughter pipes up "my knickers" in front of the whole class. The teacher couldnt stop laughing and even rang home to tell me. Well she was right in a sense she does change them every day"

When I was teaching my little boy to go to the toilet, I was telling him that it was important to 'flush the chain' when he was finished. His six year old sister reminded him to 'plush the chain' and when his daddy came home he excitedly told him that he 'pushed the change'!

My innocent moment came when our Minder asked my two year old 'when Will you be three Lauren?'and she replied ' on my birthday' well not too specific but when you're an innocent two year old it really is that simple! You just get older on your birthday... Everyone knows when that is... Obviously!

My innocent moment happened the day after I gave birth to my first baby Olivia just 7 weeks ago. Unfortunately I became unwell and Olivia had to be delievered by C section 6 weeks early. Because she was premature, she was whisked away the moment she was born and I did not get to hold her. She was taken to the neo natal unit and I was sent up to the wards. For the next 24 hours, I was not well enough to get down to the unit. Daddy was up and down with photos but I was yearning to see my princess. Eventually persuaded the doctors to let me go down, and 24 hours after she was born I got to hold my little girl, It was a magical moment that I will never forget. The nurses took Olivia from her incubator and put her down my top for "kangaroo care" When Olivia heard my voice, all of her monitors reacted. Her heart rate and oxygen levels rose. It was so amazing to see her respond to my voice in the only way she could.. Thankfully, Olivia is a little trooper and was home with us in 18 days. Shes doing really well and we can cuddle whenever we like now. But I will never forget that first precious cuddle.

Driving down my parents driveway the other day, a huge stag stepped out onto the road, my 3 year old little boy was in the back seat and my mum said "Philip, look at the deer" he replied "nanny look at the christmas trees on his head", it was one of the many moments that is the joy of having small children and sharing in their views on the world around them.

I'm a first time Mum to an eight week old & really the funny innocent moments haven't begun yet but I am lucky enough to be a junior infant teacher & am reminded everyday of the innocence of children. My favourite example this year happened at Easter time. I was telling the story of the resurrection & saying how wonderful & amazing Jesus was & that he was the only person to rise from the dead etc. Molly put her hand up & told me that I was wrong & that she knew someone who had risen from the dead - Snow White! All the others agreed with her & to be honest I couldn't argue with them...

My threee year old while on a full bus with Daddy at the top of her voice asked "Daddy are you my father ?". He is :) she had heard someone talk about someones father & was obviously confused. These are the things that show how innocent our little ones are, I look forward to many more years of funny moments like this

When my daughter told me that when she grows up she hopes that she has a daughter so that she can love her just as much as I love my litlle princess. It's amazing as I thought that too when I was little x

My 4 year old daughter, Isy, has many innocent moments. My favourite to date was last year while playing hide and seek. Isy found the best hiding place, when I went into the sitting room I could hear her softly giggling to herself. She had hidden her head behind the curtains, while the rest of her body was sticking out in full view! It was very much a case of "if I can't see you, you can't see me". Needless to say I searched noisily, and said worried statements like " oh what will I do without Isy, I've lost her now" only for isy to uncover her head and say "here I am, silly mummy". lol
