My daughter pipes up "my knickers" in front of the whole class. The teacher couldnt stop laughing and even rang home to tell me. Well she was right in a sense she does change them every day"

I remember when I had my third child - my two boys were almost 2 and almost 4 at the time. We were just home from hospital & I was feeling overwhelmed at the prospect of having 3 children under 4! My eldest asked me what was wrong & I explained to him that I was just a bit tired and would be a very busy mum over the following few weeks, he looked at me with his big blue innocent eyes & said "Don't worry Mammy, you are like a big fleecy blanket, theres loads of warm for the 3 of us & Daddy too". My worried tears were soon replaced by big proud tears for such a small & wise man! And of course, there was plenty of love for 3 little ones to go around! My eldest boy is at school now, how the time flies by, and the love only gets stronger!

My little girl is deaf and sometimes her hearing aids pick thinks up slightly differently to the way they were said, so we have countless innocent moments with her. She spilt milk on the table and my husband reacted by saying 'Oh For Gods Sake', some time later Katies brother dropped toast on the floor and she immediately turned to him and said 'OH GODs CAKE'. She has recently started saying her prayers and we haven't the heart to correct her and tell her the words arent' 'GIVE US TUESDAY OUR DAILY BREAD'. ..

Hi, my youngest child Jack has Cerebral Palsy & as a result he is slightly developmently delayed & his speech is a bit behind also. He can be so clever sometimes & says the cutest things. When asked the question "how much do you love me"? his reply is always the same "I love you too". He thinks he's explaining the amount, as in the number two!! It always makes me laugh & make all the hard work & appointments worthwhile. Sandra.Big smile

The most innocent day for us was when our son realised that his Daddy has very little hair. He said "oh no Daddy, hair all gone. Daddy need go doctor now, get more hair". Luckily my husband is not sensitive about his lack of hair!!

While on the beach on holiday last year my son was getting water in a bucket from the sea for his little sister. He threw the bucket out too far into the water and it got pulled further by the tide. My husband went to fetch it back for my upset 3 year old daughter. I let a shout to leave it, it's too dangerous, we can get a new bucket to which my daughter replied....no go after it.....we can get a new daddy!! he managed to save the bucket but not sure he was impressed with the comment. lol

My daughter Caoimhe (2YRS) has recently started saying "my tummy is rumbly" when she wants something to eat. The other morning she climbed out of her cotbed and into mine and passed wind. I looked down at her and said with fake shock "what was that noise??" She started to giggle and said "my bum is rumbly"!! I couldn't stop laughing!!
