The clown phenomenon has gone way too far, and this latest story from the UK has provided the jarring proof.
A woman reportedly went into premature labour last week, after a ‘clown’ jumped out at her left her terrified.
Details of the shocking incident were shared to the ‘Spotted Whitwick’ Facebook page, by a friend of the new mother.
“She was eight months pregnant and had a stupid 17-year-old kid jump out on her, dressed as a clown. Baby came early, but mother are baby are doing good,” the anonymous poster wrote.
They went on to share an important message to all those participating in this ‘joke’: it needs to stop, because vulnerable people are getting hurt.
“Old people and pregnant ladies aren’t the best [people] to scare. It’s a nonsense craze that needs stopping,” they added.
The disturbing story comes just days after British police made the first ‘clown’ arrest, in South Wales.
Connor Jones, who is just 18 years old, was arrested and fined for public order offences, for exhibiting ‘intimidating behaviour’ outside of a school in Caerphilly.
Let’s hope this horrific story will shake a bit of sense into these ‘clowns’.
