The sun is out, there’s a great stretch in the evenings, and summer has well and truly arrived – what better way to celebrate than by indulging in our favourite cool-down treat, ice cream?

In what is possibly the best news we have received all week, HB Hazelbrook Farm has launched a national campaign to encourage people all over the country to throw an ice cream party – guilt-free.

As part of the HB Hazelbrook Farm Ice Cream Fundays campaign, our favourite ice cream connoisseurs are asking you all to host an ice cream party in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland (DSI).

All you need to do is organise your own party, and step one is to lo-call 1890 37 37 37 or register online at www.downsyndrome.ie. You will then receive a party pack for your special event, including vouchers for free HB Hazelbrook Farm ice cream.

Having raised over €3 million for the DSI over the past 15 years, the Ice Cream Funday campaign is clearly a highlight of the summer for people living across the length and breadth of the country.

While you get to enjoy a day of fun and delicious treats, your party will raise funds for core services in the areas of Early Develoopment, Education, Health, Speech and Language Therapy and Independence, both for members of DSI and professional community connected to DSI.

So, what are you waiting for? Get planning your ice cream party, stat!

SHARE with a friend who would love to make a difference with this fun event.
