Cheesecake, pecan pie, key lime pie, banoffee pie, brownies... Many of our favourite desserts come from the USA, so let's use the happy excuse of the 4th of July to bake something delicious!
If you want to involve the children, start with a brownie. This American dessert is probably the easiest cake to make and a child from the age of 7 is perfectly able to make it under the supervision of an adult. Prepare all the ingredients with them beforehand and let them roll their sleeves!
