A super simple recipe that you can make with the kids
200g dark chocolate
170g unsalted butter
2 eggs
160g soft brown sugar
75g flour
1 pinch salt
Optional: 50g walnuts
Preheat the oven to 180°C/350 °F/Gas mark 4. Grease and line a square tin with parchment paper.
Place a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of boiling water. Add the chocolate and the butter and melt. Let cool.
Meanwhile, whisk the sugar with the eggs and the salt. Add the melted chocolate then the flour and mix until combined. Transfer into the prepared tin and bake for 25 minutes.
Let cool for 2 hours then remove from tin and cut into 9 squares.
