Being pregnant can be hard work - carrying around the extra weight can be tough on your back, not to mention swollen feet, stretch marks and being constantly tired.
However it’s not all bad; in fact, it can be pretty awesome and here’s why:
1. You bring a smile to everyone’s face.
Nobody can resist being happy around a pregnant woman.
2. Great ice breaker
You will always have a conversation starter. Always.
3. Eat what you want
You can eat a whole tub of ice cream or every single biscuit in the house without feeling guilty.
4. Daydreaming about the future
You can daydream about birthdays, first steps, first day at school, parties or baby’s first Christmas, the list is endless.
5. You are never alone.
Your baby is always with you, this doesn’t stop when you give birth though.
6. The pregnancy glow
You ooze a happy pregnancy glow that no professional artist can ever create.
7. The extra attention
You will find your partner getting you extra pillows, neighbours calling over with dinner and friends popping by with little baby clothes.
8. Shopping for baby
Trying to resist buying everything in the shop is the hard part - they're all so cute!
9. People are nicer
You will get the last seat on the bus and you'll be allowed to skip queues.
10. Body beautiful
Your boobs, hair, nails and skin look amazing.
11. Baby showers
They remind you just how much you mean to your friends and family. Oh, and the great gifts you will no doubt get and the amazing food you will eat.
12. Picking a name
It may be the hardest thing but you’ll have fun making your choice.
13. The naps
You now have a proper excuse to nap.
14. Maternity clothes
There are some gorgeous things out there. Make sure you treat yourself.
15. Listening to your baby’s heartbeat
There are no words to describe it.
16. Feeling your baby kick for the first time
Simply amazing.
17. Being healthier
You are probably a lot healthier than you normally would be because now it really matters what you put into your body
18. You are growing a person
That is amazing in itself.
