As a family we always use batchelors products but I have found lately the peas from the tins have been very hard so I was eager to try the easy peasy pots and I am so glad I did. I hadn't heard of the easy peasy pots before I heard of the trial
The pots cooked great in the microwave and came out nice and juicy and soft!.the kids loved them they had a great taste from them aswel which was brilliant. The packaging was great amdnso convenient which is great for a busy dinner.
WHat i found great was there was no waste from the pots they are a perfect size for two small children :0).
The easy peasy pots will definitely be in my weekly shop from now on.
my husband loved them too and he can be hard to please lol. The pots are excellent and they keep the taste and flavour. The k you so much for allowing me to take part in the trial. It's great to keep the bachelor tradition going in my family as the bstchelor products are family favourites. Thanks again

Thanks so much for letting us take part in this trial. We LOVED them! We are a very busy household with everyone coming in at different times for meals, so I love how easy the Easy Peasy Peas are - just a minute in the microwave and they were ready. The kids loved them, as did the hubby. And they are very versatile too - we had them with roast chicken dinner, waffles, steak - they were a great fit for every meal.
I cannot recommend them enough - for sheer handiness, a great source of protein and they taste great too.
Thumbs up all round

I have always bought Batchelors - maybe it's a nostalgia thing, becuase my mum used to too, but it's always been my go to brand. And it looks like I'm teaching my kids what I always loved too, as they have all really enjoyed taking part in this trial and they all just love Batchelors Easy Peasy Peas. As soon as we got our delivery, the kids wanted to try them - despite the fact that dinner was a good two hours away!! So we decided to go ahead and have them as a snack. In the microwave for just a minute and hey presto, they were done. And the kids loved them - who knew a healthy snack could keep them quiet!!?? lol.
Seriously though, these little tubs are going to be a feature in our grocery trolley from now on, I had never heard of them until now, and will being buying them again - healthy snacks that are so easy to prepare AND the kids will eat no fuss, are few and far between. Would (and have already!!) recommend to other mums. Thank you for letting us take part.

Gosh they really are easy peasy aren't they? The Batchelors peas went down a treat in our house, we had them will full dinner (chicken, mash and gravy - absolute YUM!), and the following day the kids demanded them for lunch. And such an easy thing to have ready for lunch. And good for the kids too.
My sister called around that same day and her littles ones tried them too. She's off to buy more.
These are great altogether, will of course be buying them again and would recommend to any busy mum.

These are such a great idea. I've oftened opened a tin of peas for lunch or dinner and found that we don't finish them and thought I'd like to keep them and have them for tea or lunch the next day, but never get around to it - having littls tubs of them that are just chucked into the microwave and ready to eat - just makes sense. How did we not think of this before?

They taste great - the hubby me and little 'un all agree. Great source of protein, low fat, gluten free and one of our five a day! Doesn't get much better than that all in one little tub.
We've already replenished our cupboards and will continue to buy them. Have recommended to my firends, and my mum's friends too.
Highly recommend.

Never herad of these before - but they're so fab to have in the house. From a meal time addition, to lunches on the go, to bored kids at tea time who will not agreed to bread and jam :) The Batchelors Easy Peasy Peas will now be part of our weekly shop.
The kids love them. There isn't a peep out of them when they are given the tubs to eat. I didn't think there was something out there that was good for the kids and that they wouldn't argue about eating.
Brillant.
Thanks so much for letting us take part - we love love love them.

Thanks for the opportunity to take part in the Batchelor peas trial. As a family we frequently eat a lot of the Batchelor range of products, but usually buy the tins.
In relation to the easy peas, they were not so easy to get out of the cardboard packaging. I struggled to break apart the set of 2 pots, and then I also had difficulty to open the film on the top of the pot before placing in the microwave to heat. While trying to get the film off I spilt some of the peas !The peas tasted fine, but maybe a bit hard, I think the peas in the tins are softer ? We had them with fish fingers and potatoes one evening and with a roast chicken dinner another day. The serving is really only sufficient for 2 adults or 1 adult & 2 kids.I don't think I'd buy them as there is a lot of packaging, cardboard on the outside and then 2 plastic pots, film etc - it's a lot of packaging versus 1 tin in my opinion. I have no problem putting the contents of a tin into a bowl and covering with a saucer to heat. Also they were not easy open and liable to spills. I think I will stick to the tins for the time being, they can easily be recycled.

Thanks for allowing me to be part of the batchelors easy peasy peas trial. I hadn't heard of them before the trial. I certainly will continue to use them, both myself, my kids and my partner loved them. A minute in the microwave and they were done, so handy and convenient. They are nice, soft and juicy and a great flavour. They are very handy too as a quick snack and nutritious. I will certainly recommend them to others.

Thank you for allowing us to take part. There are 3 of us that like peas and 2 that hate peas!! So far I have used 1 Easy Peasy Peas pot. So handy to just pop them in the microwave and add to a shephards pie dinner. I found the peas a bit hard to be honest. I will try the 2nd pot with dinner on Sunday and put up more feedback.

Thank you for letting me try these , The children loved them they were very handy and quick I didnt know of them before the trial (I do get the beans and spagetti hoops in the snap pots so these will be great to add to the choice

I always rinse the tin peas before heating (just my preference) but served the microwave ones straight up and the kids actually prefered them that way they thought they were so delicious that they want them all the time now they had them with a chicken kiev and chips

Iwill be adding these to my weekly shop as some in the house now love the juicy peas

Hi, thank you for choosing us to be a part of your tester group. I found the packaging very simple and easy to open and dispose of. From the picture I was expecting something similar to garden peas as,opposed to processed peas, so I was a little disappointed. Personally I thought they tasted good if a little bland but my four year old hated them. She took one bite and told me that these are not peas and I don't like the green sauce. My husband and I would have them again for ourselves as like I said although a little bland were a good texture and very convenient. A little salt and pepper sorted them out for me :-) I would keep a pack or two in the press for emergencies but unfortunately they will not be a regular item on my weekly shopping list. Thanks again mummypages

Being a household of pea fanatics, I was really looking forward to trying these. I have two small children and each pot is a perfect size for them but wouldn't be enough for 2 adults. The container is nice and sturdy and doesn't get too hot when in the microwave.
I love Batchelors peas but was a bit disappointed in these. I found them hard, as though they were undercooked. The taste was nice but I prefer the peas in the tin. I might buy them for convenience in future but not as a weekly staple due to the comparative cost. I will probably stick to tinned peas and just keep the leftovers in a sealed container.

Thanks for sending us the peas, like many others we always buy the tin version of these peas as peas is the one veg all our family love.
I found the pots hard to separate and ended up using scissors
I found they didn't cook in the one minute and where still hard, sadly no one in the family enjoyed the taste, the juices they were in were slimy compared to the tin version
so for us we will be sticking to the tin version
