bleeding in early pregnancy

Hi all, I'm 5 weeks and 4 days,this is my fifth pregnancy.Yesterday I started bleeding ,went straight to hospital DR.reckons it could be old blood. DR. did a scan everything looked normal TG.,I've never had that on any other pregnancy,
TG.today I've stopped,Is anyone else going through this ?please let me know.
