Get a room

In theory ... I have no issue with public displays of affection. But I have to say if I saw this each morning I’d feel a little uncomfortable (and nauseous). I’m totally at ease with a little hug or kiss as you head off to work in the morning, but these two are taking it to a whole new level. It’s bags down, coats off and get in there. Too much. Seriously, way too much.

David Walker (39) and his partner Laura O’Meara (37) say they are just an ordinary couple, who hate to leave each other in the morning without sharing this goodbye embrace. I can’t imagine how much they spend on texting each other during the day if this is their equivalent of a peck on the cheek in the morning.

It’s a sweet idea, again, in theory, and it’s ever so important to show the one you love that you love them. But not in the middle of a train station people. As one on-looker is said to have remarked, ‘Has anyone seen the middle-aged couple at London Bridge? They can’t be married, it’s scientifically impossible to love a wife that much.’
Of course that on-looker is probably a cynical old fart, but given that the couple in question are to be married in a month, I'd definitely be interested in a follow up story in a year or two.

I just couldn't do this. And I doubt my husband would either. Would you?
