Results of the latest annual pocket money survey from Halifax reveal that parents have increased the amount of money they’re giving their kids each week.

On average, pocket money went up to £6.50 (€7.58) this year, from £5.98 (€6.97) in 2012.

The survey also found that more than half of children questioned were happy with the amount of pocket money they received and also saved a portion of it every week.

What do you think? Do you give your children pocket money? Do they save any of it?
