Husband given six months to live makes sure his wife’s dreams are fulfilled

In April 2013, Chris Price told he had cancer in his liver and lungs and was given just six months to live.

 

However, Chris, who had previously battled esophageal cancer, decided that rather than sit back and dwell on the diagnosis, he would spent his last few months making his then-girlfriend Ceri’s dreams come true.

 

So he did. After proposing to Ceri, the couple got married in August of last year and took her four children to Disneyland Paris to celebrate, where they had the “most magical time”. They then took some time out for themselves and jetted off to New York for a romantic getaway.

 

Talking to WalesOnline, the 29-year-old said: "If my love could have saved him, he would have lived forever.”

 

Chris died in Ceri’s arms last month but his death was not in vain, as his wife said: "His illness made him live completely in the moment and he taught me to do the same.
