Lidl Full Shop - The Bazyluk Family - Week 3

As with most of the country I headed off to do my weekly shop this week with thoughts of BBQ and al fresco meals. Lidl was the perfect spot for this as they had such a range of proteins (perfect for BBQs) and a huge variety of salads and fresh fruit, perfect for outdoor eating.

 

We spent the bank holiday weekend outdoors having a picnic at Powerscourt Waterfall on the first day with fab bread, cheese and ham sandwiches followed by some mixed nuts, fruit and of course some crisps. On the Sunday we had a BBQ with chicken skewers, steaks and salads – yum!

 

With neighbours dropping in to the garden all weekend and the kids eating a lot more than usual, I would have expected this week’s shop to be a lot more than normal but again I was amazed that the whole shop came in under €100 even though I also had to get two bags of nappies. Definitely exceptional value and a great way to feed the family and neighbours on a bank holiday weekend.
