As youngsters enter adulthood, they begin to explore new things. One of the areas that teenagers become very keen on learning is sex. However, the wrong actions could get them into more trouble than it’s worth.

Prime Minister Cameron recently admitted he wants teachers to re-evaluate sex education for youngsters. Since the current program hasn’t been updated since 2000, there are a lot of new issues and topics that needs to be addressed.

He feels that children of today need to learn more about the dangers of online bullying and ‘sexting’.

The latest figures show that this style of texting has become increasingly popular among children, with more than half of teens saying they’ve received an intimate photo or video.

This raises concern because in some cases these images circulate school grounds, leaving the sender with a higher chance of being bullied.

Commenting on starting a debate on sex and relationships, Camron said: “I would rather as a practical person, add some sensible bits and work with what we have. We can work with some of the charities on this rather than open up the whole Pandora’s Box.”

Last year, The Internet Watch Foundation revealed that many images taken by teens are ending up on websites viewed by paedophiles.

Better safe than sorry kids.
