Stick thin model photos outrage

 

It's so sad to see that a massive high street retailer would use a stick thin model to promote their fashion line. Just when you think the pathetic 'size zero' era has moved on, the fashion world go back to this horrid promotion of what is clearly unhealthy and so totally not a realistic image for most people.

 

Who knows if this model is 'just born this way' or whether she has been forced to achieve this size for one reason or another. Either way, the image and message sent out to kids, girls, teenagers and many women who aught to know better, is that this is the size and shape you should aim for.

 

A sad move by River Island. Sad and regressive.
