Take a closer look!

Prompted by the Denny Take a Closer Look competition currently being run by Mummy Pages I thought I wouldtake a closer look at our families life and the wonderful little things that happen everyday!
It occured to me when Carlie was about 6 months pld that I never thought I'd see the day when I'd be congratulating some one on burping
. It's funny how these little things our baba's do seem so amazing, from the first little smiles to rolling over (and managing to roll back) and first steps. I think the proudest moment of my life was getting Carlie measured for her First Steps Shoes yesterday and assuring the saleswoman that she has indeed been walking by herself for the past month or so and not just cruising. I can't wait until the day her Daddy arrives home from overseas and she will be able to walk over to him in the airport!
Today we had originally had a plan of chores and shopping but when giving my little pudding her bottle this mornin I decided they'd wait. Now that I am a working mammy these days together are rare so I thought we'd enjoy a day of playing and cuddling. And we even added a new word to Carlies vocabulary... Dog, she seems to have a preference for D words with her other favourite being down. I'm still working on "I Love You"
Ah life is good really and it's my little woman that makes it so, I never would have thought she would bring so much joy into my life but every tiny thing she does makes me happy!
