This is just too much

I saw something online the other day, with someone moaning about how Jessica Simpson is talking about her pregnancy waaaay to much. And I thought it was a bit harsh. It’s her first pregnancy so she must be super excited and I remember mine – to say it took over my life and that of my family and friends (whether they liked it or not!!) is an understatement. I’m sure it’s the same for lots of first time moms. And I kinda thought lay off the girl. BUT ... then I saw the magazine cover ... oh please. I’m sorry but I don’t want to see your naked, pregnant and perfectly photoshopped body anywhere thankyouverymuch, much less on a magazine cover. And furthermore, must we have that same old tired magazine cover pose used again? Yes, it was groundbreaking when Vanity Fair did it with Demi, but that was more than 20 years ago!!! (Feeling old much!?) So yeah. It's great being pregnant. It's great to be at one with your body. It's even better to be at one with your body when you're pregnant, but I don't know many normal women who are. In fact, anyone I know tended to shuffle beyond the view finder of any camera as the months moved on and the bump got bigger.

And it looks like a store in the USA thought it was a bit much too ...so they covered it up! Now that did make me snigger. I mean, obviously it could be jealousy on my part, sure. But even if it is, I STILL don't wanna see it.
