We’re sending huge congratulations to Republic of Ireland footballer Harry Arter as he reveals he and his partner Rachel are expecting a baby.
News that Rachel is 22 weeks pregnant was broken by presenter Dan Walker on Football Focus today, and fans quickly took to Twitter to send their congratulations.

The wonderful news comes as the couple approach their daughter Renee’s first anniversary.
Just last December, the Bournemouth footballer and his partner's little girl was stillborn and at the time he said that Renne’s death gave him a new perspective.
“I’ve learned from this experience is that life can end at any second.”
“Every single game now I go out – and this is the truth – to play for her. I think I need to do her proud and play as well as I physically can, so that if she’s watching she’ll be happy,” he told the Guardian at the time.
