Following the shocking murders of 48-year-old Janet Jordon, 44-year-old Philip Howard and six-year-old Derrin Jordon last Saturday evening, devastated family members have spoken out and paid tribute to their deceased loved ones.

Opening up about the horrifying incident, the family released a statement saying: "Janet was a beloved daughter, sister and auntie. Dezzy was a breath a fresh air and truly one of a kind."

Attempting to comment on the impact their deaths will have on their surviving family members was almost impossible, explaining: "For a family to lose someone so young cannot be explained in mere words."

Paying tribute to their father Philip, his grief stricken children said: "Take care of our sister Dezzy up there daddy, take care of Jan too. We wish you didn't have to go Daddy, it's our worst nightmare come true."

The bodies of the three individuals were discovered in their home on Vicarage Road on Saturday evening.

According to post mortem results, all three victims are believed to have died from multiple stab wounds.
 

The murders, which horrified the Oxford town of Didcot, are believed to have been carried out by Janet's son, 21-year-old Jen Allen. whose body was found yesterday in a wooded area by a members of the public.
