We unfortunately start the morning with some incredibly sad news.

Following their YouTube video last week which saw overjoyed couple and devoted vloggers, Sam and Nia, announce they were to become parents for the third time, the family have been dealt a devastating blow.

Taking again to their social media channels in order to share the painful news with their thousands of loyal followers, Sam and Nia revealed they had suffered a miscarriage.

With admirable courage, the pair choked back tears in a video which they entitled Our Baby Had a Heartbeat and explained the impact this had on them and their small family unit.

Opening up about the pain she feels having lost her child, a clearly grief stricken Nia said: “I stood up and I just felt empty. That’s the hardest part – knowing that it’s really gone. There’s no question.”

“I’ve never experienced what Sam and I went through last night. We really, for the first time in our marriage and in our relationship, grieved together,” she explained.

Attempting to seek the positive within the heartbreaking situation, a devastated Sam insists their family is now stronger as a result of the loss

“It makes me appreciate my children more. I looked at both of them in a different light,” he said.

Take a moment to hear how Sam and Nia are coping in the aftermath of their heartbreaking ordeal.

Our thoughts are with them and their two children at this tremendously difficult time.
