For many parents around the world, IVF treatment has changed their lives in ways they never thought possible.

 

Ever since the birth of Louise Brown – the world’s first IVF baby – back in 1978, millions of previously childless parents have gone on to welcome beloved babies into their lives, all thanks to this groundbreaking procedure.

 

While IVF is a daily topic of discussion, particularly as more and more research is carried out into tweaking the procedure, many are as yet unaware of exactly how it works.
