We all really enjoyed this trial in our house LOL - as soon as they arrived, I told the kids we would have a taste test after dinner. Form that point on, they were on their best behaviour!! Who knew chocolate could have such a calming effect!!!
I have to say I love these Cadbury Egg 'n' Spoon eggs - they are really tasty, they look gorgeous and they're fun for the kids.
The taste test arrived, and each of us selected our egg of choice and we shared them around so everyone got to taste the two - I'm sorry to say, we loved them both, there was no clear winner, but certainly there was nothing left after our trial.
Big thumbs up in our house. Would absolutley recommend - have already told my sister about them and my mum (she always does the big Easter Egg hunt in her house and these will be perfect).
Thanks for letting us try them out.

Well that certainly went down a storm! My two children, James age 5 and Lucy age 3 couldn't sit still with the excitement when I showed them the Cadbury Egg 'n' Spoon box which contained four precious eggs...one for everyone in the family, even mummy and daddy :-)
I used the chocolate eggs to bribe my children to eat all of their dinner and try one new vegetable - today it was parsnip. After everyone finished we carefully opened the gorgeous little purple egg box, the children loved its authenticity to the real egg box they're so used to seeing in the kitchen.
Squeals of excitement were followed by complete and utter silence as they dived into their respective chocolate eggs. Lucy loved the cute little purple spoon and delicately extracted every morsel of chocolate mousse from inside the egg before devouring the chocolate shell. James on the other hand, preferred to bite into his and finished it in record time.
Baby wipes to hand, the children weren't allowed to move from the table until hands and faces were cleaned...and then it was upstairs for some jumping on the bed before, pyjamas, cleaning teeth, and a bedtime story to wind down!

Thanks you soooooooooooo much for letting us take part.

These are absolutely gorgeous. I hadn't heard about them until I saw them here. I love the packaging and design - these will be brilliant for Easter Egg hunt. I love that they are individually wrapped.

We had an official taste test, and althought we all loved them, we were split down the middle on favourites, which is a good thing I guess, more sharing and less rows.
I would definitely buy them again - so much better than a large Easter egg, the perfect size for little ones.

Definitely would recommend.
Thanks again.

So delighted to be selected to take part in this trial.
I had heard of Cadbury Egg 'n' Spoon before, but I wasn't sure I'd like them (I was wrong!!!) We just loved them in our house - they were gone in minutes!! I think the general consensus on flavours was the chocolate mousse was the favourite. The kids really enjoyed the fun of cracking the egg and scooping out the mousse (we used our won spoons!!!). It was great fun, and what a fabulous treat for the kids - they were over the moon.
Love the fact that each individual egg was just the right size for each child. It's perfect for a treat, and I will definitely be buying again.
They will be part of the Easter Egg shop - we have a big family Easter Egg hunt and these are just the things to have.
I would recommend without hesitation. They're great. Sure they're Cadbury's - I wouldn't expect anything less.

Got mine yesterday and they are gone lol. My 4 year old found them hard to manage but liked them. I found them a bit to rich but that's a good complaint.I had seen them in the shop but thought they were a bit expensive so never bought them. My sister loved them aswel she went out and bought a second pack they would be lovely on an Easter trail or as a desert the packaging is fab which makes them look even more like a special treat :0). The only flaw I had was there were only two spoons and because of the inside you need the spoon to eat them as they are too messy Toneat without the spoon. The chocolate flavour were the favourite in this house and as I've said because they are rich you can only eat one so a four pack is great to share. We are big Cadbury fans in this house. I would recommend them to my friends and as I've said they ake a lovely desert.
Thank you for letting us take part it was a nice tasty trial enjoyed by all the family.

Having spotted these in the shops recently we were delighted to take part in this mummypages trial. The whole family took part and found them not only extremely fun but really tasty too. The Milky Mousse favour was definately the overall favourite in our house but the kids (both young and old) had so much fun cracking the eggs and scooping out the delicious mousse that both favours were demolished in no time. The fact that it contained four individual eggs meant it was ideal for sharing as a family although we did have to use the spoons from both boxes in order to have one each. However we will definitely be keeping these in mind again for a fun family treat, to bring along to share with friends or to give as a small easter gift. Thanks so much for including us, we all got great enjoyment tasting these yummy chocolate treats.

Recieved my Cadbury Eggs today & hid them till the kids had finished homework & dinner. I had seen these in the shops but had never purchased them & didnt realise there were two flavours. 4 kids at the table, 4 kids in position, spoons at the ready. (2 teens & 2 under 10)
My son (9)who loves anything sweet, wasnt really impressed but said he liked the choclate mousse but didnt finish the egg. Daughter (5) voted for the white & polished off the whole egg. Teen 1 & 2, liked the white as well, they said the white wasnt as 'rich' as the choclate & would buy again. I would recommend Cadbury put in four spoons as my teen said if her friends pooled their money together they would buy them but the problem is theres just 2 spoons.
I, myself, liked both mousses, they are very rich, mayb too rich & sweet for kids but would buy again as a treat.
Would recommend to my friends & thanks for letting us try this.

I have seen these eegs in plenty of shop so I was well aware they were available they just never tempted me enough to buy them.
When they arrived and I opened them I was pleasantly surprised to see the little spoons my kids thought they were so cute. My eldest daughter liked the chocolate egg but myself my husband and my youngest daughter much preferred the White egg. I found the chicolate egg did not taste chocolately enough it was grainy and felt Lardy in my mouth.
We put the eggs into egg cups to eat them it was great fun. Perfect for an easter treat.

I will buy the White egg again but definitely not the chocolate one.

Thank you so much Mummypages for choosing us to take part in this trial. As a family of confessed chocaholics these chocolate eggs were divine. The shape of the egg makes it easy to crack open with the little spoons and we loved both flavours,(no specific favourite) the chocolate one quite rich and the milk one refreshing,my 9 year old even mixed the two flavours together which was really tasty,(maybe cadbury would consider doing this!).I think they are a bit pricey but had to buy more after eating for the trial as we are officially hooked. And as a treat for easter i will definetly be purchasing these instead of the usual easter eggs as these eggs are way more tastier,And i have recommended these divine treats to all my family members and friends. Thank you MUMMYPAGES

Thanks for letting me take part in this trial. I had seen these eggs in the supermarket but didn't give in to pester power and oh boy do I wish I had. My 4 year old daughter and I tried both flavours and while it is hard to pick a favourite, I prefer the chocolate mousse and my little girl preferred the milky mousse. I found the milky mousse a little too sickly while the chocolate ones were perfectly rich but still very light at the same time. There should be a spoon for each egg but it's only a minor problem as I was happy to bite the top off and use the sides as a sort of scoop. My daughter preferred the spoon as she doesn't like anything too messy. It is a lovely treat and we had great fun comparing notes. I would buy this in the shop but more so around Easter to use as part of an egg hunt or for an occasional treat. I would have to buy both flavours due to household preferences but a mixed box of 2 of each flavour would be fantastic. I would heartily recommend these eggs to anyone on the condition that they save me one too :-) thanks again mummypages. My favourite trial to date x

We were very happy to try Cadbury Dairy Milk Egg 'n' spoon. I had seen these in the shops last week but hadn't tried them before as I thought they were a little expensive. I prefered the Chocolate Mousse and the kids liked the Milky Mousse better. As there are 4 eggs in each packet, I think that there should also be 4 spoons. Lucky we could use the spoons from both packets, otherwise someone would have to wait for a spoon, especially when we wanted to spoon out the mousse first and then eat the chocolate egg which we all did.

I think the Easter Bunny will bring some to my house. I would recommend them as a great chocolate treat for all the family.

I had a great surprise when I received my Cadbury Egg 'n' Spoons today. If I had to sum them up in one word it would be... yum. Myself and my daughter tried the vanilla and my two sons had the chocolate. The vanilla was nice and creamy in the middle and it was a real novelty to be able to crack the eggs and spoon out the insides, just like a real egg. My sons were very happy with the chocolate eggs, but after a taste test, we were unanimous that the vanilla was our favourite. I have seen these eggs in the shops for the past few weeks but wouldn't allow myself to buy some so soon after Christmas. Overall I would recommend these Eggs to friends as they are a delightful little treat, however I would warn fellow mums to be careful and only serve these as a treat as these little guys sure pack a punch calorie wise for their size, But they are well worth it and It would be an honour to feature in future taste tests if they are anything like this product! Thanks guys

My family and I were delighted to be chosen to take part. When the package arrived and we seen the cute, trendy packaging we couldn't wait to give them a try. First we tried the milky one and found it had a nice rich, creamy taste and was very filling. The crack of the thick chocolate shell was great fun for all! The chocolate one was just as nice and the filling inside my daughter said is like mousse! All in all we would recommend these to everyone! Thanks again for inviting us to share in.

First of all thank you to MummyPages and Cadburys for allowing us to test your chocolate, what a job to have to undertake ;).

Well the general verdict on the taste was excellent, both the white and milk choc fillings were enjoyed by all in our house. I preferred the white filling personally, I felt it was not as sweet as the milk chocolate filling.

I would be a little put off the price, ie. I think that it is quite expensive but it would be something I would consider purchasing as a treat for my children (and me;)) . I would also like to add that I do not understand why only 2 spoons were given in a pack of 4 eggs. Luckily with the two packs arriving, we were able to take the two from the other pack but with 3 children, this would have caused a silly dispute. So, I would strongly recommend to provide 4 spoons or to provide none at all (they really are not needed).
