I am more of a crisp than a chocolate lover - I find a lot of chocolates are too heavy for me. I am so glad I signed up to try cadbury egg and spoon. They are yum. The centre is light and foamy and covered in delicious dairy milk chocolate. I never normally eat white chocolate, I would go as far as to say I hate it. I thought there would be no way I would like the cream filled eggs. Wrong !!! They were lovely, the flavours mixed perfectly. These went down a treat in our house and were all gone by the following day. I will definitely buy again. I really like the novelty of eating them with a spoon. I would perhaps include wooden spoons as opposed to plastic from an environmental standpoint.

Thank you for allowing me be part of the Cadbury Egg 'n' Spoon MUM'S SAY TRIAL

I had seen these before in the shops but never bought them, I always leaned more towards the Creme egg. However, following trial of these I would definitely buy again and have as Centra had them on offer last week. They are easier for the children to manage with the spoon, which they loved the idea of. We had them at home which was fine as we opened the two packs and gave the 4 children a spoon each, however, if I was out and purchased a pack for the children, I would need to bring 2 more spoons. I don't know what it is but I think the packaging makes them look very rich and maybe that is what steered me clear of them before. The chocolate mousse is indeed very luscious. All 6 of us trialled them. The children loved both but both myself and hubby preferred the Chocolate Mousse. I think the Milky Mousse felt heavier to me and maybe that is why I did not like it as much as the Chocolate Mousse. While the children ate a full one each, both hubby and myself shared an egg each time as we found half was enough. They will be great for the Easter egg hunt.

Thanks again mummypages :)

Thanks so much for picking our house to do the Egg 'n' Spoon tasting.

My 8 year old loved them. We all loved the vanilla egg more than the chocolate one in this house! Its the perfect size for a treat, and the boxes didnt last very long in our house. We put them in the fridge which made them even nicer. The only thing that was a problem was there was only 2 spoons in each box. Will buy the Cadbury Eggs for Easter!

We got the two packs of Cadbury Egg 'n' Spoon eggs last Monday...they were gone before dinner! hahaha...I had a white one, my husband had a chocolate one and the 3 boys each got to have one of each flavour. I tried the chocolate cream from my husbands and vice versa. 4 out of the 5 of us preferred the White cream. The youngest liked them both but he preferred the chocolate (unrefined taste buds I say! hahaha).
I had heard of these before but never bought them as I thought they were too expensive. I'm not much of a chocolate person, but I loved the white ones! I wish there were 4 spoons though as I had to use a teaspoon, which was just too big. My middle child (aka CHOCAHOLIC) absolutely adored these. He even spent his own money to go out and buy two more packs of the white ones for himself! hahaha This is what he wants instead of a big chocolate egg for Easter and his reasoning can't be argued with...4 eggs cost €3 so each egg is 75cents...one large egg is approx €6 with no extras so he could get 8 of the Cadbury Egg 'n' Spoon eggs for this price! He's 10 and his favourite subject is maths! hahaha
Overall, we really liked these and when you think they're only 75cents/egg and Cadbury Creme Eggs are more than this, it's not all that bad. I will be buying more and probably saving and washing a couple of the spoons since there isn't enough in the packs. Thanks!

My daughter really couldn't wait for this trial.... And it totally lived up to her expectations!!! Both flavours were fab, I preferred the chocolate and she liked the white.... She suggested that it would be even nicer if the shell was white chocolate too!
The eggs are perfect treat size portions and are ideal after dinner. Another suggestion would be to have 4 spoons so my daughter can share the eggs with all her friends at a little tea party but that's just a small gripe. Overall, a lovely product and a great treat!!!

My kids loved this trial. My son wanted to buy these in the supermarket last Friday and was so excited when i told him some were coming in the post. They had been delivered when we got home. Hands down the Milky Mousse won in our house. My kids loved the idea of the eggs coming in a little egg box with spoons. My only issue is that there are 4 eggs and only 2 spoons which led to arguments among my 3 kids. They are a great treat. Especially because they are only out for a limited period. I would certainly buy them again now and at least i know that mousse is preferred over chocolate. Great trial thanks for the opportunity to participate.

There was great excitement when we found out that we had been chosen to taste test Cadbury's Egg 'n' Spoon. I had heard of them before this trial and had previously bought them. The packaging was great although I think it would be better if there were four spoons instead of two. While I loved the chocolate mousse ones I did find that they were quite heavy and I think that was the reason why the kids preferred the milky mousse ones. Cracking the eggs and using the little spoons was a great novelty. Not too sure if I would buy them in the future as I felt that they were a bit expensive but would consider them for something like an Easter egg hunt. Thanks again for letting us take part. Unfortunately my youngest was very disappointed that she couldn't take part due to her having a dairy intolerance. Maybe in the future you might consider a dairy free version.

Thankfully everyone was in school when the package arrived in our house. Why? Beacause it meant that Mammy got to try Cadbury's Egg 'n' Sppon first and in peace and quiet.

The big question was which would I try Chocolate Mousse or Milky Mousse. I decided to try the Milky mousse and was not dissapointed my guilty pleasure is chocolate and this hit the spot, silky, smooth and sweet. But problem on finishing the egg I threw out the spoon which meant only one left for the three left in the box.

After the younger ones came home from school and to bribe them to finish homework early they had a choice of which ones to try. two went for Milky Mousse and one for the chocolate mousse all loved them but now we had no spoons for the older ones to eat theirs, yes I have plastic spoons in the house but even the 19 year old wanted to use the small purple spoon.

Both flavours went down well no complaints on flavour, or size. I had seen them for sale before but never tried them as Creme Eggs were favourites before, since last week I have bought both varieties and love that the boxes are being brought into school for Arts and Crafts. But please Cadburys put in 4 spoons i would buy these as treats to bring on day trips to the Zoo etc but the fact that there are not enough spoons would make eating them very difficult. Also would like if the box had two of each varieties as an option.

Thank you for choosing us to try

Cadbury Egg 'n' Spoons were well enjoyed in our house the we ones loved them me not so much. The favourite was the white chocolate mouse now they went down a storm.

To be honest I never really heard much about these before and as there probably Easter themed then maybe I just missed them the last few years.

We have decided instead of the traditional easter eggs that we will be giving each of our cousins (23 in total a packet of egg 'n' spoons as they are so much fun especially with the small spoons included in the pack.

The packet itself is very well presented, down to the egg box to the wrapping on the eggs themselves. And it was so easy to eat them as you can just lift the top off the top and eat from the inside out or as one of mine has done just shoved the whole thing in his mouth!! :)

We will definately be purchasing the egg in spoons again as the were such a great hit.

Firstly I would like to say thank you for choosing my family and I for this trial.
These were a huge hit in our house to the extent that arguments nearly broke out My kids, aged 8 and 3 got huge satisfaction from both varieties. They were both equally as nice. The novelty of using the spoon to crack them open brought more interest and enjoyment and really added to the experience. I couldn't recommend them highly enough to others. They are ideal for that extra bit of fun while enjoying a major treat. Such a hit in this house even the Easter Bunny will be asked for them.
BUY BUY BUY!!!!!
You won't be disappointed SmilingSmilingSmilingSmilingSmiling

All I can say is Yummy!
When these arrived to the door both myself and my husband had to try one of each first before testing with our sonTongue
My son is 3 years old and when I showed him the Egg n' Spoon he was very excited about what he was about to have. He found the spon a little difficult to scoop out the insides but I think this was due to it being a little firmer as it was cold. He loved the taste and thought they were "really delicious"!
I love the idea of the sharing of these in the box but with there being only 2 spoons you would take from it then, 2 eggs each which I feel is far too much. I'm a chocolate fan but found after eating 2 its very sugary so for me it would be one at a time.
Defintely this is something I will consider asking the Easter bunny for and it would be something I'd consider gifting too as I like the design and the idea of the sharing.
Thank you for the opportunity of trying these

Than you for allowing us to be part of the trial... I saved the eggs for kids and a friend. We had great fun "Testing" the eggs. We found the packaging super exciting, the anticipation on opening the boxes was huge spoons very cute, eggs were easy to crack open and the result was unanimous, Delicious.... The kids preferred the milky mouse, but personally I preferred the chocolate..

I asked them would they choose these in the shop if getting a treat and they all said they would..
I don't think we'll be buying them for Easter though as they like the bigger eggs for that time of year. But definitely for the Friday treat these would be a hot contender...

Thanks again for the chance to take part...

Well you made one household very happy with this trial - thank you for letting us take part.
The kids absolutely loved them - we had seen them in the shops, but to be honest, I wasn't sure what they'd be like, so didn't buy them. Having tested them, I can categorically say they are fab. There was no clear favourite, suffice to say they were all demolished in no time at all.
Will buy them again, and they are already on the list for Easter. Would recommend to other mums.

What can I say? It's Cadbury's chocolate which is always a winner in my house, and it's a yummy egg shaped treat. Winner all round really.
The kids really enjnoyed them both, but probably preferred the chocolate mousse ones. Me and DH liked them both.
I will be buying these again, and as we do an Easter egg hunt in our house for all the famly and cousins, these will be perfect.
Would recommend - sure what's not to? Ha ha.
Thanks for letting us take part,
