Great trial, thanks for letting us be part of it.
I had heard of and seen Cadbury Egg 'n' Spoon but had never tried them. They're just gorgeous, and just the right size for a treat for the kids. Who incidentally adored them. And have requested them as their Friday treat from now on!! I can't say I have a problem wtih that, they're really delish.
Have bought them since and they will be part of the Easter shop.
Would highly recommend.

The Cadbury Egg 'n' Spoon were a huge hit in our house- the kids have alll said this is their choice for Easter!!
We tested both flavours and although we enjoyed them both, but the milky mousse was a firm favourite for everyone.
Will buy them again. Just gorgeous.

I'd like to have had this trial last just a little bit longer ... but with lots of interested little people ready to go, they were gone as soon as they arrived! I think that shows Cadbury Egg 'n' Spoon get's a real thumbs up.
I hadn't actually heard of them before I saw them here, but they are just gorgeous. A great treat for the kids, and the perfect addition to our easter egg hunt.
Recommend.

My 7 year old and I were delighted to be part of this trial. We had tasted the eggs last year and enjoyed them. The only drawback at the time was the price.
We started with the chocolate mousse eggs 1st. Thought they were delicious! My son loved the little spoons and I think having to crack the top of the egg is a nice touch. A few days later we tried the milky mousse eggs. Although they were still tasty we thought the mousse centre could be improved. Either it should taste like white chocolate or should have a more milky taste.
My son loved scooping the inside out of the eggs. Also loved the packaging! The chocolate mousse eggs will definitely be purchased again here. The price also seems to have dropped in a lot of stores to €3 per 4 pack. I will also be gifting these to nieces and nephews over Easter! Thanks MummyPages and Cadbury for this delicious trial!

Egg n spoon
Myself and the little people had great fun trialing the new cadbury egg n spoons. The packaging is a+ reallly catches your eye. Although there was only two spoons in the packets and four eggs. That was the only downside for us. The taste was great we really enjoyed them i think our favourite was the white chocolate mousse as the chocolate was just a bit too sweet, for me anyway but the we ones ate one of each and there was definitely no complaints. All in all the are very tasty, and brilliantly packaged. These would be fantastic for our egg hunt now at easter. Along with the creme egg and caramel egg. You cat beat cadbury

We had tried these eggs once before but not in a while, so you can imagine the excitment when they arrived. I have a 4 year old & a 7 year old. We all tried one each, including my husband. I must admit, I am not a huge fan, they are too sweet for my taste but the chocolate mousse ones were a hit with everyone else.
The kids love the little spoons & for extra fun, we put them into egg cups for them. I like that they are a good size for a treat & they loved eating the mousse first and then the shell.
We tried the white ones the following evening and they were less of a success. Only the 7 year old liked these, much to his delight as they were designated all his after that. The rest of us did not like the taste at all and preferred the chocolate ones.

I wouldn't buy these regularly as they are quite expensive but they would definitely be bought for the Easter Egg Hunt or a special treat.

My 7 year old wanted to make sure I told the "survey people" that he think Cadbury should add 4 spoons to the box instead of 2 because it's no good if you have 4 people eating them all at once.

Thanks for letting us take part. It was a really fun trial and the kids loved being part of it and having their opinon heard.

Great excitement in our house when the package arrived. The boys had these last year and each claimed a pack each,.
One of my boys only likes milk chocolate so he had no interest in the eggs with the white mousse, the older boy preferred the eggs with the white mousse.
They loved the taste and the little spoons, only downside I would see with the packaging is that if I was to buy a pack, I have 3 kids and only 2 spoons, which in my house would cause a major row.
The packaging is really cute and the egg boxes were great for make and do afterwards.
Having seen the price in the shop, I do think that they are pricey for what you get, but as an Easter treat, it's a great idea

Thank you Soooooooo much for letting my family be part of this great trial. We are a huge fan of Cadburys in this house, I might even go to say it is our favourite brand. SmilingWhen the delivery arrived, my daughter was so excited! It reminded me of Christmas morning. The eggs themselves were a huge hit! We loved both the flavours. She had the chocolate one first and couldn't wait to have another one. It is safe to say that Cadbury has remained number one in our household! WinkWe have already bought more for our upcoming Easter Egg hunt and we will be recommending them to all our friends and families. Thanks for letting us try them out. You rock MummyPages and Cadbury

It was great to take part in this trial.... everyone in our family really enjoyed the novelty of cadbury egg 'n' spoon even mammy and daddy. I have seen them in the shop before but never bought them after trying them i would defo buy them as a special treat. My eldest son (14) loved both the white and chocolate and made sure he got one of each. Even though he's that bit older he took his time and enjoyed using the little spoon to scoop out all the delicious mousse before devouring the outer chocolate shell. My youngest son (5) he preferred the white mousse egg didn't get as much fun out of the spoon though i think he was too impatient to eat it ha ha.... My husband's favourite was the chocolate mousse egg as was mine. The only thing i would have preferred is if the chocolate shell was a little thicker. All in all a great fun chocolate treat for all the family to enjoy. Thanks for letting us try them out.

Thanks Mummy Pages for letting my family take part in this trial, it has been our favourite trial to date.
Had you heard of Cadbury Dairy Milk Egg ‘n’ Spoon before this trial?Yes we had heard of Cadbury Dairy Milk Egg ‘n’ Spoon previous to the trial.

What did you think of Cadbury Dairy Milk Egg ‘n’ Spoon? It was well worth breaking my diet to try these, they were absolutely amazing and melted in your mouth.

Which flavour did you and your child prefer:My children and husband loved both but preferred the Milky Mousse.I wasnt mad on the Milky Mousse as I found it quite sweet so my preference was the Chocolate Mousse.
Did you and your child enjoy using the spoon to crack the egg and scoop out the mousse? As there wasnt enough spoons only 2 got to use a spoon, it wasnt the same using a metal spoon so the rest didnt bother with it. The kids actually quite enjoyed eating it without a spoon as well as it melted and they got to lick their fingers.

Did you and your child enjoy that you could eat the whole egg, inside and out?Yes loved that you could eat the whole egg, i wouldnt normally eat anything with mousse but found this quite light.

Did the Cadbury Dairy Milk Egg ‘n’ Spoon create a fun and joyful time for you and your child?Yes it was fun comparing notes with the kids afterwards.

Do you find Cadbury Dairy Milk Egg ‘n’ Spoon the perfect special treat for you and your child to share?Yes only now every time they see them they want to buy them.

Would you buy Cadbury Dairy Milk Egg ‘n’ Spoon as a result of this trial? Give reasons for your answers.Yes I have purchased them since the trial, they are quite expensive but they have been on offer recently.

Would Cadbury Dairy Milk Egg ‘n’ Spoon be included in your Easter Egg shop?Yes they would be great for an egg hunt.

Would you recommend Cadbury Dairy Milk Egg ‘n’ Spoon to a friend, or other family member? Yes I would definitely recommend them.

Thanks again, really enjoyed this trial :)

Delighted to trial Cadbury Egg n Spoon. They were a big hit in our house. First time having them and won't be the last! Loved the purple eye catching packaging and the 2 spoons enclosed (4 would have been better as it is a four pack). The chocolate mousse was the flavour of choice for us.
Perfect sized treat for now and to look forward to at Easter. A change for the ordinary easter egg and also more appealing to little people.

Definitely would purchase and also recommend.............................send more! lol

I was delighted to be selected to take part in the trial. I'd seen the egg n spoons in the shop but hadn't had a chance to try them. Really loved the packaging, love the purple and they look exciting. Definitely something for kids to get excited about and they look so special they easily pass as a special dessert option a real treat. I think the novelty of eating a chocolate egg with a spoon is great and fun for young and old. Only thing I would say is I would prefer if there was 4 spoons rather than two. The milky mouse one was the biggest hit in our house but the chocolate mousse one was also nice, but we felt the contrast of colours just looked nicer and tasted slightly nicer for some reason! I would buy the eggs again but only as a special treat. I would include the eggs in my easter Egg shop because they are so cute I think they'd look great in a set with novelty egg cups maybe. I would recommend them to a friend but again only as a treat as they are a little expensive to buy regularly.

Having tasted the egg 'n' spoon when they were first released and not bought them since, I was delighted to get the opportunity to try them again. From the first time I tasted the ones with the milky centre, I had liked them, so was eager to try the chocolate centre ones and see if I liked them as much. Being honest, I didn’t like the chocolate centre ones and found them to be very luscious. Neither of my children liked the chocolate centre one either, but liked the milky centre ones. They said the chocolate centre ones were too sweet. My husband liked both, but also found the chocolate ones very sweet.

The kids loved cracking the eggs open and scooping out the mousse and so did I. They had no problems cracking them open themselves. My husband just ate it without the spoon but thoroughly enjoyed it like that. One complaint I would have is that the chocolate on the egg is quite thin, so by the time you scoop to the end or hold it too long the egg is either breaking up or melting in your hand.
Would I buy them again? Not at almost €5 for a box of 4, I wouldn’t. Seriously overpriced for 4 small treats, when you compare them to what else you can buy in the confectionery aisle in the supermarket for €5 nowadays. There are great deals on chocolate treats to be had, so being honest, no I wouldn't add them to my Easter egg shop unless the were on an amazing special deal. It was fun to share them with my children, but even they haven’t asked for them again when they have seen them since in the shops. I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend them to my friends when there are so many other treats from Cadburys, etc. that I feel are better value for money or more enjoyable or longer lasting.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to review the Cadbury egg 'n' spoon.
My three daughters and myself thoroughly enjoyed both flavours.
The novelty of the four eggs arriving in a miniature egg carton was amusing to the girls as was the idea of having to crack open the eggs using the little purple spoons. They were a lovely treat and would be suitable to have for an Easter egg hunt as they were very well packaged. They are reasonably priced. We would all highly recommend them.

I really enjoyed my trial.. I thought the the packaging for the Egg and spoon boxes was great fun. My two little girls loved opening the wrapper and thought the little spoons were so cute.. We love each of the .. The chocolate moose one was my favorite and my girls love it. The white mouse was just as nice.. Iv never seen them before,,but now after our tasting,, were big fan,s of them now. I think there great for old and young and even small tots. We had great fun,,not only eating them,,but my girls kept the boxes and little spoons to play with and there asking the Easter Bunny to bring them more.. If I did have to pick between the two ,,I'd have to go with the chocolate moose one,my girls loved the white moose ones.. I will definitely be getting these again and for anyone who has not tried them.. Please don't miss you.. They are fabulous...
