Have just taken part in this trial and all i can say is....WOW. My 7 yr old daughter was only too delighted to be helping me out.

Of course we knew about Cabdury being the chocoholic I am and had seen the product in the supermarket but never gave it a go. it is abslutely delicious. Personally i liked both and maybe just leaned more towards the milky mouse version and my daughter has now decided the milky version are her favourite eggs. They come very well packed in a nice little egg tray with their own spoons which are extremely handy especially if you bring them out as part of a packed lunch! They are the perfect size for a child's treat (and a mammy's). My daughter was delighted she finally got an easter egg that full was of chocolate (I think this is every chocolate lovers dream). They are nice and light but filling.
We will definitely be buying these again. We do a big family Easter egg hunt and these are perfect for it. Definitely recommend. They make a nice change to just the traditional egg.

thank you so much for letting us take part in this trial. to say my 4 your old was delighted was an understatement!!! i have seen these before in the shop and had been tempted to buy but just never did. when we sat down to eat them after alot of excitement opening the packaging and seeing the eggs there with the spoons we thouroughly enjoyed them. my son went for the chocolate one and he loved it, the novelty of the spoon was the main thing for him. even after the moose was gone he was trying to eat the egg with the spoon. i myself preferred the white chocolate moose but my partner and son definately preferred the chocolate moose. i will definately be buying these again. i would suggest that there are more spoons in them though. 2 spoons just might cause an arguement in our house!!!! :)

Myself and the kids were delighted to take part in this trial. I had seen these before in the shops but had not bought them. The kids loved them, especially the milk chocolate mousse ones. They definitely want these for Easter. I found them a bit too sweet but good anyway. The only downside was that in a pack there were only 2 spoons for 4 eggs. When you're giving these to kids that is going to cause a row because they all want a spoon. These will be on the shopping list for Easter. Thanks again for letting us take part.

Have 2 kids a 10yr old girl and 7yr old boy. Both loved the uniqueness of the packaging, very clever, liked that the eggs were individually wrapped inside as well. Had seen these before but thought they were expensive last year but notice that they are now 2e a pack in dunnes which I think is good value, when you compare 1e for a kinder egg.
In terms of the eggs themselves, great to eat for kids as they're not messy, the filling is firm so no dripping choc onto clothes. For taste my two kids preferred the choc mousse, did not like the milky mousse at all, they found it far too sweet.
My daughter came up with a few ideas for the future!, maybe put in a little sheet of stickers or a little ideas page as the box is perfect to use afterwards for arts and crafts. Also she thought maybe a little add on next year of a cadburys egg cup to put the egg into. Tbh I wouldnt mind paying extra/separtely for the egg cup if it was made of plastic and could be used again.

The minute the kids seen the egg @n@ spoon, they were delighted and of course so was i ,my kids are aged 13,11,and 5, everyone in the family loves them ,
The 5year old loves the chocolate one but found it hard to manage, the olders kids said it was lovely and would i go to town and buy more as their treat on a friday for school,i myself like the white mousse one not as rich as the chocolate one,
the only thing i would fault is they should have 4 spoons in the box,
but def on the card for their easter Bunny
tanx so much for letting us take part in the trial, and we def be buying more :)

We loved this trial! Yum ! The chocolate mousse was the winner but only by small margin! Kept the eggs in the food press and they were quite soft when we went to eat them. I love that personally but the 2 year ok'd and 4 year old were covered in melted chocolate in seconds. I do agree that 4 spoons should be included as they're quite necessary. The kids loved the novelty of eating them with a spoon! Loved them. Defo buying them for the Easter egg hunt!

Thannks very much for allwoing me to be part of this trial.
Needless to say as soon as they arrived my 2 kids were mad to try them out. I had heard of them before the trial but had never tried them. I love the packaging and design of them. The kids really enjoyed cracking the eggs and scooping the mousse out of them. The only thing was they only come with 2 spoons, would be nicer to see 4 spoons in the pack. They are an ideal size for young kids as a treat. Have to say we loved both flavours, we couldn't choose one over the other.
They are ideal for easter egg hunts. I certainly will buy them again and recommend them to family and friends.
Thanks again

Well I have to say that the arrival of 4 individually wrapped chocolate egg shells filled with a delicious chocolate mousse made me very popular at home and I can assure you that it wasn’t just little people who were delighted when the postman delivered them! We are all big fans of chocolate (in all shapes, forms and sizes!) and especially Cadbury chocolate so this trial was right down our alley and there were no complaints at all when I asked everybody to try one and give me their opinions – they were only too delighted to dig in and devour them!

Prior to this trial, I had not heard of Cadbury Dairy Milk Egg ‘n’ Spoon nor had I ever seen them before. They went down a treat in our house - everyone simply loved them. Personally, I thought they were original and different, not just your ordinary chocolate egg. I especially liked the presentation – the purple colour is bright and the cute little egg box is eye catching. They will definitely be noticed on the shelves in the run up to Easter. However, I do think that there could be more of a distinction between the 2 flavours on the exterior packaging. We didn’t realise that there were 2 different inner fillings until we had delved into them – not that we minded of course.

The verdict for us was a slight preference for the chocolate mousse to the milky mousse but only just and both were demolished within seconds of opening. The texture of the mousse was light, fluffy, delicious, decadent and sinful. You really felt like you were enjoying a little taste of heaven and the problem was that 1 egg just wasn’t enough!

From the way they are presented to the way they are opened and even the way they are eaten, they are a clever and innovative chocolatey treat which are immensely appealing for both adults and children alike. We liked the way you had to use the spoon to crack the egg and spoon out the mousse, it made for a fun eating experience.

We also liked that you can eat the whole egg, nothing gets left behind. When you had finished the light and fluffy mousse, there was still more enjoyment to come from the tasty chocolatey egg shell. We all had great fun together enjoying them – they were a novelty and got us chatting and laughing about eating such a “healthy” boiled egg and getting so much enjoyment from it. They are the perfect treat after dinnertime when we all crave something a bit naughty.

Yes, I will buy Cadbury Dairy Milk Egg ‘n’ Spoon again. I think I will keep them for special occasions like birthday parties, Easter time or as a reward. However, I can see myself giving into temptation and getting them for a treat at the weekends too. There is something irresistible about them – they look so cute and pretty all wrapped up like a traditional box of eggs. They will most definitely be included in our Easter shop this year – in fact, I have already been ordered to get them. I would hope that they will be available at a reasonable price and in all stores convenient to me.

From a personal point of view, I much prefer them to Cadbury Crème Eggs which I find too sweet and sticky. They are also messy for little kids to eat and they don’t have a handy spoon like the Cadbury Dairy Milk Egg ‘n’ Spoon eggs. In our house, I’m afraid to admit that we are chocolate addicts – chocolate has a very soft spot in our family. The problem is that I have to put a limit on the amount we consume or we would never eat any fruit or vegetables. I like that these eggs are small and light, you don’t feel as guilty eating one (or two...) in comparison to a giant Cadbury egg. However, every now and then I think a little bit of what you fancy does you good – life is short!

As a self confessed chocoholic I was very excited to received these in the post. The packaging is clever, attractive and fun and certainly adds to the enjoyment with the kids choosing them. I had seen them before but thought they were a bit expensive for the six of us. We were split down the middle with regards to preference. Some enjoying the chocolate mousse and others including me preferring the milky. This surprised me as I'm not a fan of white chocolate. We deposited the eggs in egg cups to eat them so there was lots of fun and giggles as we all sat around the table after dinner. I see they are currently on special offer in tesco at the moment so that would definitely encourage me to buy them again. If I had to find a fault it would be that there are only two spoons in the package. It would nearly be better to have none as we all ended up using teaspoons. Apart from that I would recommend them as a fun indulgent chocolate treat for the whole family.

Thanks so much for sending usthe Cadbury Egg n Spoon. We all loved them, especially the kids. They prefer the ones with the white mousse in the middle and myself and himself prefer the darker ones. We loved the little spoons that come with them, makes them last ages and I put them into egg cups so hands didn't get all melted chocolate. A big thumbs up here...will definitely be buying these every weekend as our Sunday treat:-) Thanks again:-)

Hi thanks sooooo much for letting us do the trial. I had heard of Cadbury egg and spoon but wasnt so sure if I would like them but WE LOVED BOTH EGGS, i thought the packaging was really smart and cool and would encourage you to buy them.both eggs were lovely but I slightly prefered the white mousse.. We had great fun cracking open our eggs and eating them with the little spoons as this is something different. we had a great joy and it was great that it was a four pack to share with everyone--this actually encourages sharing--only criticism I would have would be to have 4 little spoons instead of 2 incase you had 4 people ready to eat them lol. It was a great treat and I will and have already bought them since the trial, they didnt last long here as they were gobbled up very quickly--they are tasty and just the right size for a treat, also encourages kids to use a spoon. I will definately be buying them for my easter egg hunt boith in work and at home . I would definately recommend this product to anyone. they are tasty and the perfect size for anyone, also greta that they are individually wrapped. thanks again for having us as part of your trial we loved it :)

Thanks to Mummypages for selecting our family to take part in this trial, it was yummy.
The Cadbury Egg "n" Spoon boxes arrived & taking the job at hand very seriously my daughter (9) & son (6) decided to split one of each type of egg so they could decide which was the nicest. My daughter is chocolate mousse obsessed but to everyone's great surprise she couldn't pick a favourite. My son is not a big chocolate fan but thought the chocolate mousse was nicer but would happily have either. Personally I preferred the chocolate mousee but again the milky mousse was very good too.
Although I think the box of eggs are expensive I would buy them again for a special treat and for Easter, the packaging is really cute & the kids love the little purple spoons. The eggs are a nice size treat that both kids & adults can enjoy.
I would happily recommend them to anyone.
