A mother on her way to collect her children from school was killed in the London terror attacks yesterday.

Aysha Frade has been named as one of the four people who died yesterday during the horrific attacks.

It's believed Aysha was on her way to pick up her daughters, aged eight and 11, from school when she was killed.

Aysha's relative John Frade expressed his sorrow at the sudden death, according to The Mirror.

“Aysha was my cousin’s wife, and when I heard I was just absolutely shocked.

"I’m still just feeling terrible, it’s a terrible thing to happen, and you just don’t expect it to happen so close to home in this way.

“I can’t even put it into words how he’s [my cousin] feeling. His life’s completely fallen apart because of what’s happened. They’ve got young kids.

“It’s tragic. You can’t believe how anyone could do something like that, so close to home, to a mother.”

Aysha worked as an administrator in DLD college, in London, and the principal, Rachel Borland, described her as a “highly regarded and loved by our students and by her colleagues”.

She said the staff were said staff were "deeply shocked and saddened" by Aysha’s death.

She added: “All our thoughts and our deepest sympathies are with her family.

"We will be offering every support we can to them as they try to come to terms with their devastating loss."

Aysha’s family were originally from Spain, and her sisters still live there, in Betanzos, near La Coruna.

The Spanish Embassy initially said there were no Spanish victims, as Aysha held a British passport. However, after her documents were found on Westminster Bridge, the sad news of her death broke.

Her family in Spain began to receive calls from London after her ID was found.

A local councillor from Betanzos, Andres Hermida offered his sympathies to the family, saying:  “Betanzos has suffered a terrible blow because of the scourge of terrorism.

“Our most sincere condolences to the family of Aysha, a woman originally from Betanzos murdered in London.”

Aysha is the first civilian named among the dead. Policeman Keith Palmer was the first person to be identified after he was stabbed by the crazed terrorist.

At least 40 people were injured in the attack after a car left the road on Westminster Bridge at about 2.40pm yesterday afternoon and ploughed into pedestrians.

The driver then crashed into the railings in front of Westminster, where he jumped from the car and attacked PC Palmer, who was on duty.
