Jack Whitehall’s girlfriend Roxy Horner has announced the gender of the couple’s baby.
While speaking on TV earlier today, Roxy delighted fans by revealing their little one’s sex as well as sharing an update on her pregnancy journey so far.
During a chat on Steph’s Packed Lunch, Roxy announced she and Jack are having a baby girl.
Detailing whether or not they have a name picked out for their daughter, Roxy explained, “I'm having a little girl… We've thought of some names, but I feel like none that are like really sticking out”.
“So if anyone's got any ideas”, she joked after admitting, “I'm so excited, I can't wait”.
When asked if she’s nervous about her baby’s arrival, the 31-year-old said, “Weirdly no, maybe I should be. I don’t know, I'm just very excited”.
“I've always wanted a baby and a family so it's something that's always been on the cards”, she added.
Roxy, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2021, went on to share an update on her experience with pregnancy while having diabetes.
“Your sugar levels kind of go up a lot higher during pregnancy, because you become more resistant”.
“So it's quite hard to manage and it's changing weekly. Before I was pregnant I knew exactly my carbs to insulin ratio, whereas now it's just changing all the time”.
The model, who is due to give birth in September, added, “I’m having to up my insulin dose pretty much daily at the moment because I’m in the third trimester and that’s when it really kicks in”.
"You have to manage it a lot more tightly as well during pregnancy because it's not just you, you're thinking about the baby as well", Horner concluded.
Jack and Roxy, who began dating in 2020, announced they were expecting a baby together back in May after tragically suffering a miscarriage in 2022.
