He has been criticised for playing up the dramatics and avoiding discussing the real issues throughout this presidential election, but last night Donald Trump was ready to get down to business.
Only, yet again, he has angered and upset women all over the world with his comments on abortion.
Last night, Trump claimed that if he is elected President, he will be appointing pro-life judges in the hope that Roe v. Wade – the landmark case ruling that made abortion legal – would be overruled in the individual states.

While abortion is always a highly divisive subject, it was the words Trump used to describe his opponent’s stance that upset many viewers around the world.
“If you go with what Hillary is saying, in the ninth month you can take the baby and rip the baby out of the womb of the mother just prior to the birth of the baby. Now, you can say that that’s OK, and Hillary can say that that’s OK, but it’s not OK with me,” he said.
Clinton proceeded to slam Trump’s ‘hate-rhetoric’, replying: “You should meet with some of the women that I’ve met with…This is one of the worst possible choices that any woman and her family has to make, and I do not believe the Government should be making.”

Elsewhere, on social media, Trump’s comments were slammed as ‘disgusting’ and even nonsensical.
“Literally no such thing as a nine-month abortion. [We] can’t have a POTUS who has no idea of basic truths,” tweeted one woman.
Meanwhile, a medical professional added: “Guess what happens when you do this – the baby lives. It’s called a delivery. High-yield information coming from an obstetrician!”

No matter where you stand on the subject, we’re sure Trump’s highly insensitive comments upset a lot of women and their families last night.
