An Australian mother has caused a stir online this week, after launching a search on social media to find the biological father of her daughter.
With her loved one about to turn 13, Kerryn Leigh has decided that it’s finally time for her to learn more about the father she has never met.
Perth-based mum Kerryn took to Facebook to appeal for the man himself, named Rodney, or anyone with information to come forward and help with the search.
According to the Facebook post, Kerryn Leigh met Rodney during a snowboarding holiday in Queenstown, New Zealand, 13 years and nine months ago.
She went on to share a description of the man whom she believes to be her daughter’s father. The only other information she has to go on includes that he had two friends, one of whom was named John and worked in a cardboard box factory in Brisbane.
Sharing a photo of herself and her darling daughter, Kerryn Leigh wrote: “We want nothing from him, but possible conversation…who knows? I just need to do this for her.”
With Kerryn’s post going viral around the world, let’s hope that they will be able to find Rodney.
