A mum from Copenhagen is expecting triplets this month.

The estimated odds of having triplets or quads is 14.87 of every 1,000 births - so it's a pretty rare phenomenon.

The Norwegian mum posted a picture on her Instagram which shows the growth of her babies and her belly from week 12 to 34.

The 36-year-old captioned the incredible collection of photos:

"Week to week with the triplets. [heart] What a journey this has been! From the huge shock of learning, there were three, to people’s reactions, the numerous scannings/checks and all the preparations and planning for this life-changing event. Nothing like the ordinary."

"I’m glad we took these pictures, because this collage really shows the massive growth. It’s strange to have ended up with such a big belly and it’s even stranger that it can stand out like that without falling down!" she added.

The family previously revealed that they are having two girls and a boy.

We can only imagine how busy that household is set to become, as the mum's Instagram stories showed that she was on her way to her last check-up before the babies' arrival.

Luckily, the mum has said at 34 weeks that she has "made it this far without any serious complications."

The couple also has a two-year-old son, Mikael.

We are wishing their family the very best of luck ahead of the triplets birth.

We can't wait to see the pictures!
